Kellan Lutz, Gerard Butler, Ne-Yo Celebrate Being 'Fun Fearless Males'

The Mandarin Oriental hotel was bombarded on Monday night by some of finest looking men in the entertainment industry for Cosmopolitan magazine's 2010 Fun Fearless Males party. While some of the honorees placed themselves in the "fun" category, and others said they were "fearless," there were a few who were brave enough to claim they are both.

"I would say I'm more fun. I'm steeped in fear," "Castle" star Nathan Fillion admitted to Us1magazine on the red carpet as he listed his phobias. "Sharks. Sharks, heights and bears. I would be afraid to be on a bear-filled island in a tall tree overhanging a shark-filled ocean."

Ne-Yo also said he felt his fun attributes helped him make the issue. "[I'm] probably more fun, because I deal with fear all the time," he said. "This business is very scary."

"True Blood" star Stephen Moyer wouldn't choose one category over the other. "I think that sometimes I'm fearless and sometimes I'm fun, but it's very rare to be able to be fun and fearless together. I think fearless can be quite scary," he said, adding that his fiancé Anna Paquin definitely knows which he is. "Probably more fun."

"Gossip Girl" creator Josh Schwartz decided he was none of the above. "I would say I'm equal measures of both ... because I'm the first one to lie to you," he joked. "Reading it in the magazine, [those aren't] the first two [words] I would think of to describe myself, but I'm happy to be labeled that way. 'Neurotic' and 'anxious,' but they're not going to award you for that in Cosmo."

Chris O'Donnell also had a different adjective up his sleeve. "Stupid," he laughed. "I'd say fun, I would guess. I mean I would like to think fearless, but there's too many things I'm afraid to do."

Kellan Lutz may play a tough vampire in the "Twilight" series, but he thinks that being fun or fearless in real life is not mutually exclusive. "To me, they're the same," he said. "I think to be fearless and take risks, or to have fun, you have to be clearly fearless."

Fellow bloodsucker Paul Wesley of "The Vampire Diaries" was pretty certain about his nature."I'm gonna go with fun, because I get terrified pretty easily," he explained. "For example, on the series, they put some vampire makeup on me sometimes, and then I'll go to lunch and I'll forget that it's on. Then I'll look in the mirror and have a mini heart attack."

Terrell Owens, who has to tough it out on the football field, had no real answer. "Fun slash fearless," he said, before taking it back. "I don't know. That's a good question. I am stumped right now."

And it's not so surprising that Gerard Butler, who's been starring in both romantic comedies and action flicks lately, is another guy who picked both adjectives. "I would say  and I know this is a boring answer  I would say 50/50," he said. "If I've got to say fun, then there's a part of me that's fearless. And if I've got to say fearless, you know there's a big part of me that's fun. So I'd say down the middle."
